If the vehicle has a seven way trailer connector then you can use the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180. The Curt Echo will bypass any in-cab trailer brake controller without errors. Therefore if your in-cab controller stopped working or you just need the Curt Echo for a short time you can use it without removing the old in-cab unit. view full answer...
The SoftStartRV Soft Start for RV AC Units part # SSR54FR is universal, meaning it will work with all RV air conditioners. There are specific wiring diagrams for each type of A/C unit. I have attached a sample install video for you but you may need to adjust a few steps for your specific model. While it is typically used as a bolt on jack the ARK Extreme Off-Road Swing-Up Trailer Jack w/ Dual Wheels part # ORJW750BD can be used as a weld on jack.
The bracket that is used to mount it is a standard steel. You will have to clean off the finish on it of course but touch it up afterwards and you'll be in good shape. view full answer...
I did some research on the ECC because I hadn't really heard of it before and I was able to find out that the ECC is strictly designed for use with 30A services according to the owner's manual. So, upgrading to 50A would effectively get rid of the ECC as it wouldn't be compatible.
With that being said, the Progressive Dynamics 4500 Series RV Converter w/ Charge Wizard and AC/DC Distribution Panel # PD4560K18LS8 would be a nice upgrade providing a 60A converter output.

The bolt pattern that is on the bottom of the Kwikee 32 Series Steps part # LC3722616 that you referenced is 22 inch by 8 inch but there are several bolt holes on the plate which might be why you are getting a slightly different measurement. view full answer...
According to my contact in the Tech Services department at Demco, a 1 inch drill bit is recommended instead of a hole saw. Since you'll need to enlarge the hole somewhat, Demco recommends doing that from the underside, then feeding the steel bushing up from underneath. The frame brackets are slotted where they attach to the frame, which will allow for a little wiggle room. I've linked to an install video that you might find helpful. view full answer...
The flack plate/bracket should indeed have the bushings facing towards the front of the vehicle. I included an image showing this as well.
As to drilling the holes for the shackle bracket, I don't really have a way to make that easier, unfortunately. This can definitely be a pain in the butt and the only advice I can offer is to use a 90 degree angle drill, if you are not already using one. If you do not have the room for that, a long extension on either a drill or ratchet should grant... view full answer...
Yes, your black tank is going to need to be empty when you plan to use the Dometic 3-in-1 RV Toilet Bowl Cleaner and Black Water Tank Treatment Packs # DOM82FR.

You will need to apply 12 volt power to the proper wire(s) to extend the steps. You can use a 12 volt battery for this. Unplug the motor from the control unit and apply power to the red motor wire only while grounding the yellow wire.
You would need the newer control unit # LC379146. But I am not sure why you would need it since you have replaced the steps with a whole new set. view full answer...
The Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Manual - 13,500 Btu - White # FR52PR will work great to replace a Carrier RV Air Conditioner. There is no plug-in adapter which means you would not be able to use any old controls for the Carrier, but all the Furrion controls are on the distribution box so you're basically just hooking up power. It's a simple swap.
If you're looking to use some existing controls, then you can use the Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner part # ACCAR135... view full answer...
If the bump stops on your 2006 Fleetwood Bounder Class A Motorhome are going to interfere with the bags, or are directly in the spots where you're going to be mounting your Firestone Ride-Rite # F2070, they can be removed. With that being said, if they're not going to interfere with installation, you can leave them there to act as a fail-safe in the event that a bag were to rupture or some other type of freak malfunction (this is unlikely, but if they're not hurting anything you don't need... view full answer...
